ZJFC is a Japanese flashcard program for the Sharp SL-5500 Zaurus Linux-based PDA. It is a reimplementation of some features of Glenn Rosenthal's JFC program.
ZJFC reads JFC-style flashcard files (though for now they must be converted to Unicode), and displays flashcards in either JFC format or KDrill format.
The only requirement for ZJFC is that you have a Japanese Unicode font installed.
You can't at the moment. You can try to download the CVS snapshot and compile it yourself, but you will most likely be disappointed, since it only supports KDrill-style cards, the flashcard file has to be named /home/root/jlpt-3-vocab.zjfc, and it will only display Japanese questions and English answers. And the code is really crappy since I did it at 2am.
Probably by the end of this week (October 18) I will have something a little bit more usable up and running, and I may have even figured out how to build .ipk files.
Once I have the basic thing up and running and stable, I'd love whatever help anyone can give. Please contact me at awh@awh.org if you are intersted in helping.
